Getting lost in Mother Nature is easy to do. Staying on track and getting out after being lost isn't so easy. Attend our Natural Navigation Workshop on Thursday, June 26, 7pm, at Buzz Mill Coffee, and learn about the most common practices for staying the course with helpful tricks and tips from Camp Master Chris Hyde who is a pro at navigating some of the most difficult and confusing terrain.

Natural Navigation Workshop
Forgot your map, lost your compass, or batteries dying on your GPS or phone, can you still find north? Can you get home? Navigate your way naturally? Because of the inventions above, the art and skill of navigating naturally has been all but forgotten. During this class we will discuss how to estimate time, determine direction, distance, and navigate from point to point over long distances. This is a wonderful introduction class to the world of the naturalist & survivalist and these simple navigation methods will forever stay with you as you adventure into the wilderness.

Earth Paints & Mineral Pigments Workshop
Join us for Earth Paints & Mineral Pigments and renew your creative nature by crafting your art supplies directly from the wild! This introductory class will focus on understanding earth minerals and the pigments they produce as well as how to utilize different binding agents to create your very own unique artistic mediums including inks, paints, and even crayons. This is an all-hands-on class so be sure and dress accordingly. You may get wet and dirty.
