Wow! How about that total solar eclipse?! Up in North Austin my wife and I (and our animals) were fortunate to get some good cloud breaks during the partial eclipse and got to see the corona as well! Very exciting! I’m so glad the area of totality included so much of Central Texas! What a treat!

Earth Paints & Mineral Pigments
This intro class will focus on understanding earth minerals and the pigments they produce as well as how to utilize different binding agents to create your very own unique artistic mediums including inks, paints and even crayons.
This is an all-hands-on class so be sure and dress accordingly. You may get wet and dirty. Please be sure to bring a notepad and pen to take notes. And a knife.

Keep Austin Beautiful Day Neighborhood Cleanup
The Buzz Mill, Lumber Society, JNL Barbecue, and Squatch Frontier Fitness are teaming up to help clean up a site not far south from Buzz Mill at 2400 Douglas Street. We’ll be working at this location to help prepare it as a locale for the neighbors to enjoy. This will be mainly trash pickup. We’ll head back to Buzz Mill for a free drink and snack afterward.
